This morning I made a list, a list of five things I know and three things I don't. While it was liberating to feel the weight of things I don't know lifted off my shoulders, it was comforting to find the weight of the things I do know still there.
That's when I realized, there is so much I don't know. There is so much that is uncertain. But I do know some things, they may not be very specific but they are abstract enough that they can fill spaces, and lead me across large plains and deep oceans, past the voids of darkness of things I will never know and through the even scarier trenches of things yet to be revealed. The things I do know are strong enough and firm enough, to lead me safely home.
